Reserve Study
A reserve study is a long-term capital budget planning tool which highlights building components such as roofs, siding, and other elements to determine the useful remaining life in each. The study then identifies the current status of the reserve fund and provides a funding plan to offset ongoing deterioration, which allows the Association to avoid special assessments for capital projects.
The reserve study is a planning tool that the Board of Directors reviews to determine various funding needs and options for future scenarios.
